Soul Street - Tony Osborne`s Three Brass Buttons
The late Tony Osborne was a British musical arranger who worked with many major stars ( Shirley Bassey , Eartha Kitt , Dorothy Squires , Connie Francis , Gracie Fields , Alma Cogan , Max Bygraves , Judy Garland ) and also released a series of his own albums over his career .
Soul Street is from his 1969 album `Brass`N`Ivory`.
He is the father of songwriter Gary Osborne who has written several hit singles. For a while Gary also co-wrote songs with Elton John ( Little Jeannie , Part Time Love , Blue Eyes etc ) and with Jeff Wayne on War of The World -writing most of the lyrics for that album including Forever Autumn.
