This useful expression came up in a lesson earlier today, so I thought I’d share it with you:
🔸it doesn't agree with me
Definition: if a particular type of food or drink doesn't agree with you, it means that when you eat that type of food or drink that type of drink, it makes you feel slightly ill. For me, personally, it's seafood.
🔹Seafood doesn't agree with me - whenever I eat it - lobster, crab, or prawns, I get that feeling in my stomach. For other people, it could be garlic or a specific type of fruit.
