In this tutorial, you’ll learn How to Disable Disk Defragmentation in Norton 360 in Windows 10. It is also referred to Disk Optimization in Norton 360 and it is a useful feature if you’re using a regular disk drive on your computer.
However, many new computers come equipped with an SSD (or Solid State Drive) which are much more efficient in organizing and retrieving data. If your computer has an SSD for disk storage, it’s recommended that you disable disk optimization in Norton 360 because it does help in performance, instead it could use up write cycles on your SSD.
