"Monstrua" is a feminist reggaeton club anthemn result of a collaboration between Brussels based artist Clara! and French producer Tera Octe. Inspired by the feminist book "Monstruas y centouras" by Marta Sanz and the concerns of a mother who does not want to betray her own nature in order to please and be able to follow her desires without worrying about the opinion of others, "Monstrua" is a reflection on how to value women in a patriarchal society.
The music video is the third collaboration between Clara! and video artist Juliette Lizotte. Reacting once again to Clara!’s inspiring universe, Juliette brought together a team of accomplices to craft a world for five magical creatures to perform a joyful and fantastic ritual celebrating feminine powers and desires.
'Monstrua' is part of "Promesses Vol. 2", the second compilation of the label including 30 tracks by 44 different artists from all around the globe. This release is built as a long cinematic journey composed of eclectic chapters from ethereal ballads to epic anthems."Promesses Vol. 2" is a good testimony of the current label work.
