About the Quickdraw Animation Society
Based in Calgary, Alberta, the Quickdraw Animation Society has been promoting, creating and sharing independent animation for over three decades.
We provide equipment and studio space for professional artists, as well as courses and workshops for all ages and skill levels, and outreach efforts to bring animation into the community. We also host the Giant Incandescent Resonating Animation Festival (GIRAF) every November, bringing the best in independent animation to Calgary audiences.
