Updating UI Controller Firmware - Monoprice MP Select Mini V1 3D Printer
This process is mean for the MP Select Mini V1 if you have UI controller firmware v42 or lower.
If you have UI Controller firmware version 34 or higher you do NOT need to update the firmware to enable WiFi however there are some small updates to the newer versions most of which you may not notice.

Note 1: If the fan doesn't come on, check to make sure the x and y end stops are depressed.
Note 2: The IP address shown on the LCD after the screen comes back on is because I had updated the UI Controller firmware previously and set up the Wifi (see video link below for a video showing the process). The video was intended to show the process of updating the UI Controller firmware. I didn't think about downgrading the firmware until after the video was posted.
