This Gun is Freaking Awesome! | Bolt AKSU74 Electric Blow Back AEG
Today I am very excited to give you all my final assessment of the electronic blowback Bolt AKSU74.
Brief recap for those that didn’t watch the Straight outta the box video on this gun.
It’s real wood and full metal.
Shoots roughly 355 FPS at 1.4 joules with a .25g BB.
Has a hard kick electronic blow back, as we can see in this footage
The main issue I had with the gun was its small battery space. What I thought was going to be a struggle to find a battery, turned into me reluctantly already having a battery that fit perfectly. That battery is an Elite Force 11.1v 900mah lipo.
Now for everyone’s burning question/questions “is the gun worth getting” “do you recommend it” etc.
First off, if you have absolutely no interest in having recoil for your airsoft gun this gun is not for you.
If you’re like me though and are wanting that extra layer of immersion, the Bolt AKSU74 is your 6-layer cake.
The gun feels extremely solid, even when the heavy bolt is slamming into the rear sight block. Unlike previous versions of Bolt guns this one never felt like it was going to explode in your hands from the simulated recoil. Most importantly, I never had to readjust the hop-up despite the gun shaking from all my full auto fire.
The gun performs very well in medium to short range engagements and the size of the gun makes it ideal for CQB or MOUT environments. I personally cannot wait to use this gun at a Milsim West game. The feel of the simulated recoil, pyro, blank fire and correct uniforms should culminate in to a very awesome immersive experience.
