Visual Clouds - Elektron Digitone Chillwave
Getting a little obsessive over the Digitone this week and wanted to build a chilled tune. This one had me managing the voices as I wanted my lush 7th chords so I managed to squeeze the bass, arp, percussion and fx into the last 4 voices. I also got to play with some conditional trigs to augment the chords as it plays to keep the 64 step pattern fresh.
the drum pattern used the fill to add variance while playing, with an alternate pattern for the high hats. It was a bit tricky making the transition between them however it was fun to augment the sounds through this track.
