A demo & walkthrough of the new Chase Bliss x Goodhertz pedal, Lossy. Lossy is a tool for exploring all of the screwed up sounds and artifacts you can get from manipulating digital audio: think low bitrate mp3s, streaming music on dial up internet, & data compression galore.
This video includes an overview of what Lossy is and how it works, along with a number of examples demonstrating Lossy as an effects processor on various instruments including modular synthesizer and trumpet.
Lossy was created in collaboration with Goodhertz, makers of the original Lossy plugin. The pedal is more or less a direct hardware translation of the plugin, with a few enhancements & extra features.
