Mount Rubidoux, Riverside, California
Home to the oldest outdoor Easter sunrise service in the United States, Mount Rubidoux in Riverside, California is a scenic place to hike, jog, bike and even boulder. The park is open from dawn until dusk and features several paved loop routes up to the summit totaling over 3 miles with approximately a 500 foot elevation gain. Along the way you can check out the Friendship Bridge and the Peace Tower. The most prominent feature at the top of Mt. Rubidoux is the Serra Cross. There is an American flag opposite the Serra Cross and an annual 4th of July fireworks display is held up there as well. At the summit, you will have beautiful panoramic views of the city of Riverside. All in all, a great thing to check out if in the area. Check out our Los Angeles playlist below too.
