Start with the hip belt: Put on the backpack and position the hip belt across your hipbones. Tighten it securely so that most of the weight rests on your hips.
Shoulders: Pull the shoulder straps to keep the backpack snug against your back. Make sure they're not too tight – your shoulders shouldn't bear the entire weight.
Height Adjustment: Check that the harness attachment point is at shoulder height. Adjust it if necessary.
Stabilizer Straps: Pull the stabilizer straps at the top of the backpack to bring it closer to your back. This will help maintain balance.
Sternum Strap: Buckling the sternum strap prevents the harness from slipping. Adjust it to a comfortable height and tighten.
