NOTE: I AM NOT A WARRIOR CATS CHANNEL, NOR DO I PLAN ON BECOMING ONE. I am, though, a part of this fandom and thought it would be fun to host a map!
I recently found a wonderful game called “What Remains of Edith Finch”; a walking simulator of sorts, but it’s absolutely captivating and I knew I had to use it for something! And who better to use than my absolutely favorite boy Swiftpaw!
(Aside from Crookedstar. Crookedstar is my all time favorite).
NOTE THAT A LOT OF EVENTS MAY STRAY FROM CANON, BUT I TRIED NOT TO CHANGE TOO MUCH. EITHER WAY, THIS IS JUST FOR FUN :)
RULES FOR THIS MAP:
-Stick to the designs, listed here! • A poem for Gus designs
-as far as deigns for backgrounds go, I don’t care. And as for the dogs, just make them look like Dobermans.
-AMV or PMV is allowed and are both completely welcomed. If you do PMV, tweening is great, but if that’s still not an option, normal PMV is fine as long as it’s not just one continuous shot; have at least a bit of movement in your shots! (Also, only a few parts in this map have lip sync, so if yours does but you can’t lip sync well, just try your best, I’m not picky :) )
-This map is….relatively beginner friendly, although I have the right to say “no”. If your comment gets a heart that means I saw it; if I respond that means the part is yours.
-Discord is amazing, but optional. It’s open for spectators, if you really want to be one / discord If you can’t access discord, make sure your part has #aPoemForSwiftpaw in its description.
-no Gacha (I’m not a Gacha hater I just don’t want it in the map) and no tracing
-if your part has words in it, make them appear onscreen; but since this audio is from an artsy game, make the words appear in an artsy way! Like, hide them a bit, put them on the branches, put them in the clouds, have fun with it!
-The codeword is Swift Finch
-parts are two weeks after you’re accepted, but extensions are absolutely fine. Just talk to me, I don’t bite :) I’m a chill person, I’ve done maps before, I get it can be stressful. I want everyone to be chill! Just try to get your part done on time
-Watermarks. Well, if you have a watermark, finding a way to crop it out is amazing. So if you have a watermark, make sure you tell me in the comments and tell me if you’re going to crop it out. If you can’t, that’s fine too, I’m just more likely to accept you if you can crop it out or don’t have a watermark in the first place.
-don’t get mad if you don’t get in, please
-DON’T ADD A PERSONAL WATERMARK; I’ll add your name on your part when I edit.
-no green screens
-you can have multiple parts, sure. Up to 3.
