At this time of global virus pandemic, IIT Gandhinagar has postponed all academic activities and enforced strict social distancing inside the campus. But, at the same time, we are planning various innovative educational programs using online platforms.
As a part of these programs, an online seminar series by IIT Gandhinagar faculty members will start from April 24th. The seminars will be on diverse topics, non-technical and designed for a general audience.

Design is a multidisciplinary field that borrows applied knowledge from various technical fields, marketing principles as well as takes inspiration from art and sociology. Amongst various aspects of a product, the appearance is very critical. It needs to be attractive, and has to respond to cognitive aspects for effective human interaction. This pictorial presentation will be quick glance at the process of designing aesthetic and semantic aspects of a product.
