e40: Django 404 page with search form, open source contribution
We improved the Western Friend website by removing extra redirects on 404 pages to lessen server load from bots. Now, users can search directly from 404 pages. We also worked on the open-source SQLite to mermaid.js project, focusing on documentation, simplification, automation, and tests. In four hours, we enhanced two open-source projects, learning and sharing our process live, focused on code quality and performance optimization.
