Vocabulary Learning Strategies (VLS) are a way to improve students’ understanding of vocabulary learning. This video introduces students to learning vocabulary theory and Schmitt’s Vocabulary Learning Strategies (VLS). It discusses investigating different English online dictionaries, understanding dictionary terminology, recording vocabulary and using a range of digital quizzes to aid vocabulary development.
