Eurorack in Dub with Samarkanda delay [16/4/2026]
I've titled this one March Dub, as I patched it up back in March, but only got around to recording it just now.
It's actually a couple of jams - using mmMidi to sync the modules with Ableton so I can overdub recordings. The first few seconds of the video show my first recording, where I laid down one chord pattern and the kick. I then overdubbed the other parts, which is what you see in most of the video. I'm using a Scarlett 4i4 interface, so I can record the kick and bass in mono on separate channels in Ableton, while the rest of the jam (going through the Cosmix Pro mixer module) is recorded in stereo onto one track. My laptop is off the side of the screen, and as I play I'm muting the bass and kick on there.
The chords come from @busycircuits Cizzle, going through @whimsicalraps Three Sisters filter and @xaocdevices Samarkanda delay. I've also got Clouds (in the looping delay mode) on the stereo aux channel from the Cosmix pro, and the chords also go through that at times.
Beats are sequenced by Particles and come from some samples on Squid Salmple, Akemie's Taiko and BIA.
