00 - The Sheriff ZX-1070 car alarm system is a fairly popular budget model with two-way communication. This alarm system has a remote start function, but I won't be connecting it today. The kit includes the main unit, connection wires, a locking relay, a shock sensor, two key fobs, a battery, and installation instructions. The alarm system doesn't come with a siren, so I had to purchase one separately. I removed the remote start and auxiliary channel wires because they aren't used in this installation.

36 - Alarm connection wires. The large connector has two positive terminals and an ignition wire. Next are six wires for the central locking system. The client's car doesn't have electric doors, so I'll be connecting these wires according to the power diagram specified in the instructions. Next are two white wires - turn signals. The white wire with a black stripe is the siren output. The orange wire is the normally closed lock. The black wire is ground. The red and white wire is "+", the power supply for the alarm system itself. Dark green is the hood switch. Dark green and black are the trunk switch. The brown wire is the door switch. The gray wire is the handbrake. The brown and black wire is the brake light input. The alarm also has a valet button and wires to the shock sensor. There's also a connector for the transceiver antenna, which I've already installed in the car. As usual, I separate all the wires into groups and wrap them in braids that will go to different ends of the car.
09 - Under the hood, I need to locate the hood switch and the siren. The hood switch will fit into the existing connector, and I secured the siren under the power steering expansion tank. I mounted the siren on the standard bolt and secured it in place. We run the wiring to the hood switch and siren and make the appropriate connections. In this case, I use twist ties that I insulate with 3M electrical tape. You can watch my video for more details on the car's wiring harness -    • Надежное СОЕДИНЕНИЕ ПРОВОДОВ в Автомобиле....
08 - In the car's interior, I mounted the alarm unit on the air duct, under the dashboard. Let's go over the necessary wires in the car. The blue and light blue wires from the yellow connector are the turn signals. There's also a brown wire on the same connector that turns the fuel pump on, but I won't block it since the car is equipped with LPG. On the large white connector, the brown wire with a white stripe is the handbrake. There's also a purple wire with a white stripe - the door switch. The lower purple wire on the blue connector is the brake light. I'll connect the "+" from the alarm to the red wire with a white stripe on the same blue connector. The ignition lock is located on the fuse box on the upper white connector; the light green wire with a black stripe. Here, I connected the locking relay and taped the thick blue wire from the alarm. I'll hide the valet button near the fuse box. I'll place the impact sensor on the brake light bracket. I connected the ground terminal block to the standard bolt. I also looked for the trunk switch wire and connected the dark green wire from the alarm system to it. I found it in the harness that runs under the rear shelf to the trunk light – a gray wire with a black stripe. This left me with two wires, white and yellow – these are the power controls for the central locking system. Since the car doesn't have electric doors, I'll connect these wires after installing it. I'll show you the process of installing the central locking actuator in the next video.

09 - After all the wires are connected, all that remains is to configure the shock sensor and program the alarm system according to the Sheriff ZX 1070 instructions. Next, we test the functionality of the installed car alarm.

This completes the installation of the Sheriff ZX-1070 alarm system. If you have any questions, ask them in the comments.
