YouTube Orders Another Discord Music Bot Offline -
It was only a matter of time. But it doesnt seem YouTube is stopping any time soon with conquering discord music streaming bots. In another round of YouTube vs Discord Bots, the company has sent a cease and desist letter to probably one of the most popular music bot in the 'cottage industry' known as discord bots, Rythm Music Bot! The popularity may be its downfall, but apparently the developers dont seem to want to go without a fight, and they have a plan to update the bot with something new!
Not mentioned in video: On the thing about using SoundCloud, Rythm mentioned in their FAQ page that they " rather use this time to work on the project we began earlier this year instead of providing a lower quality service." and state "While the bot may be shutting down, it will continue to be online and actively hosted in order to operate our newsletter, which you can subscribe to in order to get updates about what we're working on and learn about cool things we're doing"
