My experience with Lingoda:
As I mentioned in the video, I took a class at Lingoda on Sunday because if I recommend something, I need to have experienced it firsthand. The class lasted 60 minutes. The teacher, Chloe, was very attentive, and my three classmates were from China, Japan, and Germany, so the class was 100% in English and very dynamic.
In class, we took turns discussing the proposed topic (Reverse Culture Shock: the feelings of people who return to their home country after living abroad) and read an advanced-level text on the subject. We worked on useful vocabulary and put it into practice with questions where everyone could share their opinions.
Personally, I really enjoyed the experience, and I think it could be very useful if you need flexibility, since you can take the classes at any time, from anywhere, with students from all over the world. Having the lesson PDF on hand is a great idea, because if you're feeling a bit unsure, you can download it and work through it beforehand, and if you want to review it, it's also available after the lesson. After the lesson, there are also exercises to reinforce what you've learned and feedback from the teacher.
