Our fabrics today seem to constantly wear out, absorb smells, permanently stain, and are always so just...gross. Why is that? Has it always been this bad and we've somehow yet to come up with any solutions after centuries? Obviously not. We've simply gone for softer and cheaper. We assume that washing machine will take care of everything, while also being surprised that it's wearing things out faster. We want our clothes pre-softened, and then they don't last as long. All of our t-shirts are cotton, and then we wonder why they are full of sweat stains. What can we look for to make better choices about our closets, our home, and our lives?
