Today we'll talk about how to play Lunara and give you a guide on how to build this great new assassin in Heroes of the Storm. From my gameplay so far, I've found three viable builds for her: a split push build, a team-fight build, and an gimmick build build around slows.

All Builds:
Level 1: Pick Blossom Swell. 20% increased radius on Noxious Blossom may not seem like a lot but it gives you about a 50% bigger area of impact. With a little practice you can definitely hit 1 hero and with a lot of practice you can start easily hitting 2-3. This is a MASSIVE boost to damage when you W as you disengage.
Lvl 4: Dividing Wisp - Accomplishes the exact same role as Zagaras creep spread. You stop yourself from getting ganked and scout areas of interest. Remember that you can move the second one. I forget to keep moving it all the time. What I'm working on actually.

Team Fight Build:
7: Splintered Spear - Your combo is now Q, then Autoattack, then disengage and press W as you leave (if your team won't need a slow in the next 10 seconds). This is half 3 Heroes' hp.
10: Thornwood Vine - Throw out a vine from range AND give em a stack of poison? Yes please. Then just before that wears off, give em a combo. Bam. 3 Dead heroes.
13: Pestering Blossom - #LunaraIsSquishy. For real. Kael was op with Flamethrower. It didn't just get nerfed; it got removed. Now they gave it to Lunara. For the love of god take it.
16: Star Wood Spear - You're going for a survivability through never being hit mentailty. Play like a wuss but always be multidotting and stutterstepping from the outskirts. You now have absurd range constantly with all your abilities and attacks.
20: Forest's Wrath - Did I say all? Oh yah, let's let Vine hit Illidan from 12 yards away and give you Tassadar's Oracle vision constantly. Sure.

Gimmick Build
Less viable but deadly with coordination. This revolves around picking teammates with slows. Valla, Murky, Stitches, Tychus, almost every Hero in the Moba has a slow ability, but those like Jaina and Arthas have them more permanently.
7: Wild Vigor
10: Leaping Strike
13: Unfair Advantage - This is the core ability. The "Oh shit, Lunara just hit 13" ability. It gives 50% extra poison damage to anyone who is slowed. She can slow with her W, and then any other hero's who can keep slow up let her autoattack everyone more evenly and Q more targets to...snowball...the damage.
16: Let them Wither - I choose this over Invigorating Spores because they accomplish the same metagoal but this provides a bigger benefit to the team. Better to save a tank or a fellow assassin than get 1 extra autoattack in. Strategy.
20: Boundless Stride or Galloping Gait - I prefer the move speed but it depends on the move speed/teleport capabilities of your opponents and the layout of the map.

Split Push Build
Kill all the minions. Kill all the mercenary camps. Annihilate the towers. Survive. I'm running out of room!
7: Nature's Culling
10: Thornwood Vine
13: Greater Spell Shield
16: Let them Wither
20: Forest's Wrath

Should I take the Thornwood Vine or Leaping Strike ultimate?
It depends but generally you're better off going with Vine. You can poke from farther away and do MUCH more damage in the long run.
