Part one of the video from the series of children's furniture. This video shows the manufacture of a tabletop. The main material is plywood, oak veneer, solid oak. The most difficult thing in this case is veneering. In this video, PVA glue was used, as well as PUR glue.
The tools used are a jointer, a planer, a router, a grinder, a circular saw (circular saw), plunge saw.
Other tools and materials were also used. The new type of Dimar cutters were used.
The processing consists of several functions - jointing, planing, sawing, milling, grinding (grinding), cutting veneer (veneer jointing).
Any carpentry workshop can make such a product, but the purpose of my video is to teach the basics of carpentry. Carpentry (woodworking) is the oldest folk craft, since wood surrounds us all our lives in many areas of activity. This video lesson (master class) is an original work (DIY), which gives an understanding of such topics as the properties of wood and methods of its processing. Oak can be stained and imitated at will, up to exotic ones, such as mahogany.
In this video, in addition to the Festool disc, the CMT disc was used.
