New Rule Change AGAIN
Well our BC government finished baking the idea for the rule changes that they had rolled out on July 18th and now have walked it back in some cases.
If you are purchasing a tenanted home to move into, the notice for the tenant is now 3 months (it is 4 if the owner is just moving into their own place without a sale) & the tenant can challenge the notice in 21 days instead of 30. (it is still 30 for an owner moving into their own home)
This is a wiser move as most lenders will only hold a rate for 90 days. So at least there is that.
