This first video is the starting point. I'm explaining how I approach opening Ableton Live and working from scratch. I share a bit of the philosophy and technicalities behind setting up and show very basic things to start with, such as midi programming. Slowly but surely, I will make a song that will be very rough at the beginning and eventually carve it into something solid. I believe it's important people see the struggle it can be to start from nothing but that we all go through different frustration to eventually have something nice.
This tutorial will be the first of a series. We want to focus on the philosophy of music making and will be happy to hear about your questions, requests and so on.
