Follow few steps.
Open facebook in web browser of mobile.
Than open Desktop version.
Than go to profile.
Open About Section.
Select Basic Info & Contact.
You will see date of birth. Change only year that age will become 18 or more than 18.
Warning. Changing date of birth on your responsibility because ID may be disable while changing date of birth.
After changing date of birth open settings & privacy.
Than select
Who can contact me
Change privacy of friend request to Everyone.
In this way you can update Message & Friend request option on your facebook profile
