Portscatho (Porthskathow in Cornish) is a historic coastal village located on the Roseland Peninsula in South Cornwall. It is within the parish of Gerrans and is also within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
The picturesque village made its money through fishing, and many of the houses around the village are old fishermens' cottages. As well as being home to a harbour, still home to a number of fishing boats, Portscatho also has a beach connected to the harbour, and at low tide the harbour does become a beach itself.
