SR2013 Red Canyon Jeep Trail To The Eagle Mountain Railroad Bridge
The SR2013 Red Canyon Jeep Trail Adventure
TRAIL RATING: 2-3 Easy
Distance: Appx 13 Miles
Time To Complete: Roughly 1.5 hrs
Join my family and I as we head out away from the city on another adventure in the mountains in search of the Eagle Mountain Abandoned Railroad Trestle off the Bradshaw trail near the Salton Sea!
We start off Highway 10 on the SR2013 Red Canyon Trail and venture through the hills. The trail is nice and easy going with plenty of open areas to set up camp for the weekend! There are very minor hill climbs that can be intimidating for some that are new to the off-roading world but the climbs are easy and any stock 4x4 will have no issues! Once you get past the canyons you are welcomed with beautiful views of the mountains below as you ride the canyon ridge down all the way down onto the sandy wash of the Bradshaw Trail.
So bring some lunch & enjoy!!!
***IMPORTANT - If you decide to venture alone, ALWAYS make sure you have rescue if needed. Let others know where you will be and timeframes! I am experienced and I still have a rescue plan implemented anytime I head out to the trails alone

** Always check your local weather forecast and check in with rangers to check in the trail is open. Make sure to travel with friends and don't always go at it alone because you don't want to end up having a bad day stuck on the trails!
