Nothing is what it seems in this ultra-Orthodox Hasidic community, in upstate New York, where secrets are everywhere. Sex addiction, intense rivalries, insecurities, homosexual relationships, and an ever-looming danger of the blood diamond trade. It’s all confusing for a beautiful young mom, unable to get pregnant again. She begins questioning everything she’s ever known when she befriends a transgender woman who opens her to the outside world….
