Train Sim World - Rapid Transit - Coupling and Uncoupling Units
Since it's not covered in the tutorial or used in any of the scenarios yet, I thought i'd give a demonstration of how to couple and uncouple the BR442 Talent 2 units in the game.
To uncouple:
Move the master switch to the "remote uncouple" position if you're at the opposite end to the coupling that needs to be separated. Move it to the "local uncouple" if you're in the cab that actually needs to be uncoupled (i.e. you can see the other cab out of your window). Hold it in which ever position for a few seconds and then you'll see the left display remove the other train from being displayed. You can now move off as normal.
To couple:
Stop a few meters away from the unit you want to couple to, then apply a small amount of power and press R to enable the Tempomat (cruise control). This will default to its smallest 1km/h setting which will gently couple you up. As soon as you couple, just pull your throttle back to 0.
