Iconic V - Free Kontakt snapshots playthrough
Just a thing I did: Iconic V is a sample-based emulation of the Simmons SDS-V. Unlike other emulations out there, this Kontakt library is sample-based, mixing the three components of the SDS-V (tone, noise, click) together to build the overall sound.
This is a short playthrough of some of the "kits" I made for this instrument. The sounds I prepared are varied to show a little bit of the range of this sample library beyond what you'd normally associate with an '80s drum synthesizer like the SDS-V.
