Interlude - FIT BFA in Photography - Class of 2020.
Excited to kick off @fitnyc & @fit_photography Class of 2020 graduating exhibition titled “Interlude” on instagram. It’s no lie that the state of our world has completely derailed and changed the circumstances in which our class has been given to exhibit our senior year projects, but from the very first day of class, we knew that we’d have to carve out a path to succeed facing brand new obstacles. Often referring to a musical break, our “interlude” is the bridge between our lives as students and our lives as professional creators. This group of graduating photographers are creating the foundations for the rest of our careers by building this showcase of various works. The content we produced ranges from documentary to fine art and includes virtual reality experiences, elaborate installations, along with traditional high quality prints/books. Our professors, techs, and classmates have guided and pushed us to evolve as artists, and at this collective online showcase, we would like to properly close this chapter of our lives by celebrating the achievements and showcasing the work we’ve built. We will also launch an online website or virtual space to see our show how we’ve envisioned it, eventually. For now, we start here. Stay safe and healthy and thank you for the support.
