In Tanzania, there is a secret island protected by the waters of Lake Victoria, hiding an extraordinary and little-known reality. Here, hundreds of people with albinism have found refuge from a ruthless hunt fueled by ancient superstitions and cruel beliefs, leading witch doctors to think that parts of their bodies are magical. In this report, we will take you inside the lives of African albinos, who fight every day to be seen not just for their unique skin but, above all, for who they truly are. Together, we will discover their human strength and ability to find light even in the darkest situations, and we will reflect on the injustices and challenges African albinos face every day.
