How to Stop An Application from using Internet using windows firewall
Most people allow applications to connect to firewall, but sometimes we have some cracked software or a software that we do not want to connect with the internet. I have show here some easy steps to stop wifi or internet connection to an application using windows firewall.
Easy Steps to stop Wifi connection to application
Step 1) Go to search bar, and search for firewall, and click on Windows Defender Firewall with Advance Security.
Step 2) Click on Outbound rules and select new rule (New rule is on the right side)
Step3) Click on program and click next,
Step4) Select the path of the application, to which you want to stop internet connection , and click on next
Step5) Select Block the connections , click next . The select all the Options that is Domain, Public and Private and click on next.
Step6) You may name your rule with your own choice and write any description you want , select Finish and you are done.
You have now successfully stop wifi or internet connection to the application you gave the path while setting up the firewall .
You may now use that application in presence of internet connection and that particular application wont receive internet connection . You may test your rule by going to the application and checking .
