Kickback
This element is a sideways criss-cross. The body is perpendicular to the track at all times. The legs, in a crossed position, pass over the marker at a 60-degree angle to the track line, so that the change of legs occurs approximately at the midline between the markers. If the entry is to the right, the right leg goes first, passing "over" the marker, and the left leg goes second, passing "under." If the entry is to the left, the left leg goes first. After passing over the marker, the front leg, at the extreme point, rises onto the front wheel and pivots toward the next marker, passing the back leg forward along the inside trajectory. To maintain the movement, it is necessary to squat, lifting the skateboard from one wheel to all wheels, and then perform a sideways cross rollout, exiting the squat. The kickback follows rules that are the opposite of the usual rules of criss-cross and grapewan: the kickback is entered from the front foot, and the push-off is from the front foot, coming out of the squat position on a cross-country ride!
Common mistakes: Entering with the wrong foot, the body turning behind the legs, no pumping, or pumping at the wrong time.
