Yes, your little speedlight will work fine!
I know everyone is telling you that you need power to compete with the sun. It seems like that is the only criteria that matters in the YouTube universe. But I promise you that a little speedlight and modifier will do just fine in many of the situations you find yourself in. Unless your only goal is to turn day into night because that’s what everyone else is doing.
For this shoot I use the Profoto A2 and the Profoto Clic Softbox - with the A2 at 3/4 power. It was shot on the Leica M11 with the Voigtlander APO-Skopar 90mm f/2.8
