WTF! FIFTY Dollar Cosmetic Skin!!! - Raid Shadow Legends
WTF is going on in video game land today folks? WOW! We have to talk about these new cosmetics. Raid Shadow Legends came with their new cosmetic skins in game with a CRAZY price point. I can't even believe that they would try to push the price this far for a cosmetic skin in a video game.
I would have thought at this point that we have established some price points for these types of items in game. Fortnite has made billions off these things. Genshin Impact recently started cashing in on in-game cosmetics, which is another mobile/PC game that is very popular.
I think it's a quality way to get revenue in a game without adding pay-to-win mechanics into a competitive game like Raid Shadow Legends. Not at this price point though. It's NOT affordable. It's not even close. It's like a status symbol for only the people inclined to spend a lot of money on things that don't matter.
Pretty happy with this cosmetic aesthetically but NOT happy with the price point. It's way toooooo high. $20 is a LOT to be honest. Even $20 seems like too much. Make them more affordable and you will make more money. Just my thoughts.
