What happens when medieval battles leave the safety of the lists and descend into a canyon beneath a fortress?

This is Magna Carta: Mornas. The Siege of the Rock.

For two days, the mighty Forteresse de Mornas became a battlefield unlike any other. Fighters from France and Italy gathered beneath its walls to test themselves in some of the most unusual and demanding formats in modern medieval battles.

Inside the fortress, warriors fought in relentless 3 vs 3 clashes, where every mistake could decide the outcome within seconds.

Below the ancient walls, the Grand Mêlée returned. Mass battles were fought on uneven ground, among rocks, dust, and steep slopes, turning every engagement into something far closer to real medieval warfare than a traditional tournament.

And on Sunday, the fortress belonged to The Last Condottiere. Full-contact individual combat, where striking, wrestling, and sheer determination decided who remained standing.

No choreography.
No staged combat.
Only real medieval battles fought in steel armor.

From halberd strikes raining down from the fortress walls to spectacular charges through the canyon, from brutal 3 vs 3 encounters to the intensity of professional fights, Mornas became a place where history and combat merged into one unforgettable weekend.

More than a tournament, Mornas was an experiment in terrain, atmosphere, and battle itself. A reminder that every fortress can become a battlefield and every stone can become part of the fight.
