In this tutorial, I'll show you how to use the pRecipe package to access and analyze one of the 27 available precipitation datasets. You'll learn how to:
Download the MSWEP data, which covers the entire globe with high spatial and temporal resolution
Compute the average precipitation for any location and time period of your interest
Use ggplot2 and rayshader to create beautiful 2D and 3D maps that show the variation of precipitation across space
