In 1995, Harry Vermeegen visited Marc Overmars. Marc was a vintage car enthusiast. He bought his first Jaguar when he played for Willem II. He restored the car with his brother Edwin and his uncles. Then came the limousine, and more followed!

Marc Overmars (born 29 March 1973 in Emst) is a Dutch former footballer and current football manager. He played as a winger and was nicknamed the TGV (High Speed Train) because of his speed. He played for Go Ahead Eagles, Willem II, Ajax, Arsenal, and FC Barcelona. With Ajax, Overmars enjoyed his greatest successes, including winning the 1995 UEFA Champions League, the 1995 Club World Cup, and the 1995 UEFA Super Cup. In 2009, after a brief comeback, Overmars ended his career due to injury. Since July 2012, Overmars has been the director of football affairs at Ajax.
