This tutorial shows how to convert CSV general journal entry file to QBJ and import into Quickbooks. We will use the CSV2QBJ utility.

Step by step instructions for macOS:
Use ProperSoft CSV2QBJ at https://www.propersoft.net/products/c... to convert CSV/Excel general journal entries to QBJ format and import into Quickbooks Desktop (Windows or Mac). Make sure you are using the latest version of CSV2QBJ. Download it from the CSV2QBJ download page.
Start CSV2QBJ and select the CSV or Excel file.
Review transactions before converting.
Click the 'Convert' button to create a QBJ file.
Confirm the file name and location.
Import created QBJ file into Quickbooks:
Now the QBJ file is created, let's switch to Quickbooks and import created QBJ file. Backup your QuickBooks data file before importing. To import a QBJ file, select 'File' - 'Import' - 'General Journal Entries'. And select created QBJ file.
Review entries before importing.
Click on the 'Select All' button and select entries before importing.
Then click on the 'Import' button.
Now your data is imported.
