Tropic Colour "Best Of" LUT Pack - GH5 Before & After Test Footage
Today I'm testing the "Best Of" LUT pack from Tropic Colour and I'm honestly blown away at how good these LUTs are. The biggest issue I have run into is that the overall quality of my footage just seems to fall apart or just looks too harsh with most LUTs, even at lower intensity levels, and ultimately ends up looking better without ever having the LUT applied altogether. I know the argument is to not use LUTs and color grade everything yourself, but if you're still learning to color grade or just like to experiment with LUTs then this is definitely a good way of learning and/or getting to a good starting point. The LUTs from Tropic Colour come with 5 different intensity levels for each LUT giving you more flexibility and subtleness in the final look. I have seen some amazing results with Tropic Colour LUTs over Vlog from the Panasonic GH5, which I intend on doing some test runs with that setup in the near future.
