NOTEPAD++ Tip: How to Set File READ ONLY MODE in Notepad++
This quick tutorial teaches you how to make any file READ ONLY in Notepad++. There might be a time when you are referring to a particular file and you do not want to make changes to this file by mistake, in such cases, you can open this file in Notepad++ and set read only mode. This will make sure that this file is not editable, and is greyed out to be in notepad++ read only mode.
Here is how to do that.
1. Right click on the file tab.
2. Click on the READ-ONLY in the selection options.
