Here is a tourist attraction in Seoul that many people have never been to. Even most Korean people, who have seen the image on the 1000 won note countless times don't know where to find this traditional Korean building pictured on the note.
The name of the man on the 1000 won note is 이황 and was an important Confusion scholar. He studied at Sungkyunkwan University, where this building can be found.
