Himalayan adventure course @ Manali (Avhaan 2018)
Kudos to 3 Successful years of GGIM's Himalayan Adventure Camp conducted at Manali. 56 kids from Pune set on a journey to Manali in a sleeper Class Train Journey and 18 hrs long bus drive to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali.
Awaiting were Adventure Filled 9 days, where in kids practised basic rock climbing, rappelling, trekking through the concrete road that lead way to Solang Valley to Lush green meadows of Manali upto Dhundi Camp. KIds also learnt mountain manners, mountain hygiene, Leave no trace principles etc.
Staying in the mountainous terrain for more than a week, we feel that have transformed them into a responsible trekker.
