In Microsoft Excel, you can sort data in a multi-level sort, which is a sort that has more than one sort level and sorts data based on multiple columns. Here's how to perform a multi-level sort in Excel by two columns with multiple criteria:
Select the range of cells that you want to sort.
Go to the "Data" tab in the Excel ribbon, and click the "Sort" button.
In the Sort dialog box, select the first column by which you want to sort the data in the "Sort by" drop-down list.
In the "Sort On" section, select the type of data you want to sort (e.g., "Values" or "Cell Color").
In the "Order" section, select the sort order (e.g., "A to Z" or "Largest to Smallest").
Click the "Add Level" button to add another sort level.
In the second sort level, select the second column by which you want to sort the data in the "Then by" drop-down list.
Repeat steps 4 to 6 for the second sort level, specifying the sort criteria for the second column.
If you want to add more sort levels, click the "Add Level" button again, and repeat steps 7 and 8.
When you have specified all the sort levels, click the "OK" button to perform the multi-level sort.
Your data will now be sorted based on the multiple columns and sort criteria you specified in the sort levels.
