Gentaro came out to the second enclosure this morning. 🦍
He started off by sucking his thumb and looking around. 👀
While nibbling on leaves🍃, I scanned the visitors, and if I spotted a familiar face, I'd keep looking over there😊
I'd be so happy if they remembered me🎶
Afterwards, Gentaro lay down and took care of himself🦍

Gentaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on December 21, 2011.
His father is Momotaro, and his mother is Genki.
He moved from Kyoto City Zoo to Ueno Zoo on October 27, 2025.
