One of the biggest challenges in software development and engineering is managing complexity which arises from the growing number of interconnected and interdependent parts of the system.
In this lecture we are talking about complex systems and ways to tackle them using software patterns and specifically a 'Design Pattern' called the Observer Pattern (also known as PubSub or Publish/Subscribe pattern).
Watch how we create a simple email client app using the Observer pattern and come up with a software architecture that makes it easy to add, change or remove parts without introducing bugs or raising serious scalability and maintainability issues.
