Virtual Home 8 as the name suggests allows you to use Touch ID as the Home button, so after installing the jailbreak tweak, placing your finger on the Home button/Touch ID when you’re on the Home screen will open the app switcher, so you don’t have to double click on the Home button to access it. Thus minimizing the wear and tear of the Home button.
