WHEN BOLD AND WISE WOMEN GATHER, EXTRA-ORDINARY THINGS HAPPEN.
Five wise women gathered on Sunday, March 17, 2024, with a nod to International Women's History Month to explore the joys & challenges of female friendships and the results were amazing! This gathering was based on the premise that women have harvested wisdom from their life journey and should be acknowledged for this with the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the healing of our fractured world. Recognizing that friendship is at the heart of feminine empowerment, we took a deep dive into this reflection, emphasizing how friendship keeps us STRONG in the BROKEN PLACES.
The Five Wise Women team of panelists created an afternoon of fellowship rooted in their lived experiences and their creative responses to the conversation on the meaning of friendship. Simply stated, panelists Pam Watson, Xzondra Helene Bergman, Isabelle Leger, Kimberly Sun Smith & Maureen River Dean each offered deep insights into the meaning of friendship and the significant role this plays in one’s journey, reminding us that to be a true friend whether to ourselves, our besties, our mothers or colleagues, requires honesty, sincerity and the willingness to expose our vulnerabilities. Their reflections resonated on a high frequency, asserting that when bold and wise women gather, extra-ordinary things happen.
Come, join our journey. Each day of this week, I will be sharing the presentation of one Wise Woman for you to savor & be inspired. So, please enjoy these wise words from Xzondra Helene Bergman who states, to be a friend to others, you must first be a friend to yourself.
