My favourite room is corridors.

Aerial View (Later rooms ever so slightly changed, ms paint legend highlights hard to see wall traps)

Edit: currently testing a flamethrower in place of a punching bag for testing status effects in the 777 room. sometimes is blowing all the way to the end of the freeze beam instead of the shark tank. so use what you may want in place if it's also doing that for you
NOTE: So getting more views and just wanted to leave some notes in case you want to try the layout yourself
1. Minimize your valet traffic to your main base. I have it set up so that my valets only go through if they're called on missions. They have a rec room, barracks and mess hall stationed within the casino so that they more or less stay put. The only real foot traffic to expect in your maze should be the agents, minions called on missions, and your technicians.
2. Have a buttload of technicians. I have 50 out of my 300 minions.
3. Make all the doors in the maze (with the exception of the end of the gas chamber, which are both level 2) level 1 access to allow smoother minion flow. It'll still delay the agents to get through, and a smoother flow allows your minions to potentially dodge some traps that they wouldn't if they had to wait for the door.
Also a full blown one like this will probably be seen more in your mid-mid late game, so just focus more on the concepts if you're in the early game. The first room is just early game traps.
Have fun trying some stuff out :)
